ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A Kingland, Texas, man was arrested in Odessa on Sunday following a traffic stop.

Police say officers were flagged down by a driver of a vehicle in the 100 block of East 3rd Street on Sunday.

According to the report, the driver stuck his head out of the window and said something with very slurred speech.

The driver was later identified as Clayton West, 33, and a back passenger was identified as a 2-year-old male.

Officers say as they were talking with West, he had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.
