MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Survivors, caregivers and those who knew someone who lost the battle to cancer came out to the American Cancer Society office at Midland College on Saturday to show their support at the Midland Relay For Life.
This event is also happening during Relay For Life Week, where teams and individuals camp out at a particular venue and all take turns walking around a track or a path.
At the Midland Relay For Life, cancer survivor Melody Hart who is also an Event Leadership Volunteer and staff member of Midland Memorial Hospital shared her survival story with participants.
Funds raised support the American Cancer Society's lifesaving mission.
