FORT DAVIS, TX (KWES) - A Fort Davis man, arrested last year, has been given the sentence of life behind bars without parole.
Andres Alvarado, 28, was arrested in June of 2014 for charges of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Alvarado has now been convicted of repeatedly sexually molesting his stepdaughter.
The attacks took place at a home in the 300 block of South Sergeant Gonzales.
District Attorney Rod Ponton says Alvarado has a previous conviction for raping a 9-year-old boy.
"Andres Alvarado will never be able to sexually abuse Fort Davis children again," said Ponton.
