A Hobbs man has been arrested, after authorities found out he was trafficking meth.
Kenneth "Canu" Johnson, 48, is charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine.
On Friday, September 11, the Lea County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the Avalon Cove Apartments in Hobbs.
This, after agents received information that illegal drugs were being sold from inside Johnson's apartment.
As authorities searched the unit, they found 149 grams of meth, valued at almost $15,000.
After the discovery, Johnson was arrested and charged accordingly.
