H.E.B. "Helping Heroes" in Midland on 9-11

H.E.B. is feeding firefighters in honor of 9-11.

It's a program that takes place every year called “Helping Heroes.”

More than 4,500 H.E.B. partners go to nearly 700 local fire departments and commemorate their heroism by serving them a meal.

Workers will also do service and maintenance projects like yard work and cleaning at the fire station.

“Helping Heroes” pays tribute to the rescue teams who risked and lost their lives at the World Trade Center.
