Fort Stockton Police Searching For Armed, Dangerous Suspect

FORT STOCKTON, TX (KWES) -

Ft. Stockton Police are looking for Richard George Flake, 30. They say he is armed and dangerous.

Flake is wanted in North Carolina for attempted murder. We don't have any details at this time on what happened in North Carolina.

A woman contacted NewsWest 9 that she was the victim of the theft.

The woman says her and her husband worked with Flake in South Carolina at a business. That business has since closed down. They brought Flake to Fort Stockton where they live now to help Flake out.

The woman says that on Tuesday she was in the Midland/Odessa area so that her husband could have surgery but when they returned home their car, their gun and some cash was stolen.

Ft. Stockton Police say Flake is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are urging citizens with any information on Flake's whereabouts to contact Ft. Stockton Crime Stoppers at 432-336-7777.
