MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The Midland County Sheriff's Office is investigating following an early morning aggravated robbery in Midland County.
Authorities say the robbery happened at Greenwood Country Store located in the 10700 block of FM 307 just before 6 a.m. Monday.
According to the report, the clerk was preparing to open the store for the day when a suspect entered the store and forced the clerk to where the safe was located in the store.
The suspect then fled the scene with an undetermined amount of money.
Officials say the suspect was dressed in all dark clothing and displayed a handgun type firearm during the robbery.
The report stated that during the robbery the clerk received injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital and was later discharged.
