Odessa Brothers Convicted on Federal Drug and Gun Charges

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Two Odessa brothers have been convicted on federal drug and gun charges.

In December, investigators searched 40 year old Pedro Madrid and 38 year old Elizar Madrid's home.

The report says they found methamphetamine, cocaine, and two semi-automatic weapons.

During a traffic stop in February, Ector County authorities say they found cocaine, methamphetamine, a sawed-off 12 gauge shotgun and three pistols in Pedro's car.

Both brothers face between 10 years and life in prison.

They are expected to be sentenced in November.
