7-11 Store Robbed Twice Over the Weekend

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - A 7-11 store in Ector County was robbed twice over the weekend at gunpoint.

The robberies happened at the convenience store on West University.

The first robbery happened just before 4:00 a.m. on Friday.

Clerks told deputies that a white or Hispanic man walked into the store, pointed a gun at them, and demanded cash.

Once he had the money, he left and jumped into a dark colored truck and drove off.

Deputies say he is about 5'3" and was wearing a white Spurs hat, black gloves and a blue bandana covering his face.

The second robbery happened just after 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The clerk told deputies a man pointed a gun at her and demanded money.

She says he then ran off toward Moss Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man, about 5'2", wearing a white ball cap.

Deputies are not sure if the two robberies are related.
