BIG SPRING, TX (KWES)
Drivers in Big Spring can expect some delays for a while.
That's because Texas Department of Transportation crews are working on Highway 87, just south of the city.
Traffic in the area has been reduced to one lane in each direction.
The speed limit has dropped to 45-miles-per-hour and an all-way stop is now in place at the intersection of Highway 87 and Ranch Road 33.
Crews have also added crossovers and U-turns at Ranch Road 33 and Highway 700.
The work is expected to take several months to complete.
