ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - The Ector County Sheriff's Office is investigating following an aggravated robbery in Ector County early Thursday morning.
Authorities tell NewsWest 9, the robbery happened at the Domino's in the 9000 block of West University just before 3 a.m.
When deputies arrived on the scene, two Domino's employees reported that they were closing up for the night and were in a back office completing some paperwork.
According to the report, one employee remained in the office while the other had taken some trash out and when the employee returned he heard the door close behind him and went back to the office.
About 20 minutes later, both employees, who were still in the office completing paperwork, heard the back door slam.
That's when, police say, the employees saw two subjects both wearing blue bandanas on their face, black hoodies and wearing blue medical gloves. One subject was holding a handgun and the other was holding a rifle.
Police say the suspects then demanded money and took the night deposit bag and some money from the register and also demanded both employees hand over their cell phones.
The suspects then fled the scene out the same back door but officials say it's unknown if the suspects left the scene in a vehicle or on foot.
Authorities say they are reviewing surveillance video from inside the store.
No injuries were reported and the amount of money taken was undisclosed.
