A motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital following an accident in Midland County on Monday.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. Monday morning on Interstate 20, about one mile west of Loop 250.
DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a motorcycle was traveling westbound on Interstate 20 when it failed to control speed and rear ended a sedan.
As a result of the collision, the driver fell off the motorcycle and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The motorcycle driver was cited for failure to control speed.
A shooting just after 3 p.m. Saturday near 3rd Street and Detroit Avenue has left one person in the hospital at University Medical Center.
Julio Cesar Lopez-Beltran is wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred at Whataburger shortly before 2 a.m.
