Man Stabbed in the Neck in Odessa, Police Investigating

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Police are investigating following an evening stabbing in Odessa.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to Medical Center Hospital just after 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a stab victim.

When officers arrived, they learned Brandon Ramirez, 22, had been stabbed in the 1600 block of Alameda.

Police say an investigation revealed that after Ramirez got into a fight with several male subject, a known person stabbed him in the neck.

According to the report, another subject began shooting a gun during the fight but there were no reports of anyone being shot in connection with the fight.

Ramirez was taken to the hospital by private vehicle with serious bodily injury.

No arrests have been made yet in connection with this incident.
