Midland Woman Accused of Making Step Kids Walk to Her Mother's Home

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

A Midland woman is in hot water after allegedly making her step kids walk to their mother's home.

Sarah Robbins, 33, is facing charges of abandoning or endangering a child.

According to the affidavit, deputies say they found two kids, ages nine and ten, walking along Highway 158.

They also say it was over 100 degrees that day.

The report says the kids' father was going to take them to their mother's home but while he was in the restroom, Robbins allegedly told them to start walking.

The kids left and according to the report that's when Robbins and the father got into an argument.
