Two Arrested Following Forgery Call in Odessa

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

Two people were arrested following a forgery call in Odessa on Monday.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the Kwik Kash on Andrews Highway in reference to a forgery in progress.

When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the occupants of the suspect’s vehicle.

They were identified as Sherry Annette Rice, 39, and Jeran Tim Loschiavo, 21.

According to the report, employees at Kwik Kash reported that Rice drove up to the drive-thru window and attempted to cash a check with a license not belonging to her.

Police say Rice was found to be in possession of 33 fraudulent documents that weren’t hers and Loschiavo was found to be in possession of four fraudulent checks made out to his name.

Rice has been charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and forgery of a financial instrument while Loschiavo was arrested for forgery of a financial instrument.
