Child Killed in Tragic Accident

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

An Ector County child has died following a tragic accident on Monday night.

The Ector County Sheriff’s Office tells NewsWest 9, deputies were called out to the 9500 block of West April Street around 7 p.m. regarding a vehicle/pedestrian accident.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found 15-month-old Adilenne Perez dead on the scene.

An investigation revealed that the child was accidentally hit by a vehicle driven by her father.

Officials say no foul play is suspected and Adilenne’s body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
