Man Arrested For Discharging Firearm Near Midland Airport

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

One man was arrested for discharging his firearm near the Midland International Air & Spaceport.

The City of Midland tells NewsWest 9, Johnny Miller was using the Premiere Parking Service and the service has certain requirements regarding firearms in a vehicle.

Officials say as Miller was checking his firearm, the gun discharged and a round went through his car and hit another vehicle which was unoccupied.

Miller was arrested for discharging a firearm within city limits.

No injuries were reported.
