ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One woman is behind bars following a check welfare call in Odessa on Friday.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the 1300 block of East 8th Street in reference to a check welfare involving four children that were left unattended inside of a parked vehicle.
When officers arrived on the scene, the officers spoke with the children's mother, Faride Urbano, 20.
Police say an investigation revealed that Urbano had left her children inside of her vehicle unattended for approximately five minutes.
According to the report, Urbano was found to be in possession of a fake Social Security card under Urbano's name.
Officers reported that Urbano admitted that the Social Security card was fake.
