Odessa Police Arrest Aggravated Assault Suspect

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A man wanted by police on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon has been arrested.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, Alex Chacon, 25, was arrested in the 100 block of West Ada Street on Friday morning.

As you may recall, earlier this month, police say Chacon kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and even pulled a rifle out and threatened her and a guy she was with.

A few days later, Chacon spotted his ex with the same guy on the road.

Police say he went up to the car and began banging on the driver's side window.

According to the report, Chacon struck their pickup several times before trying to run them off the road and also threw items at them.
