37-year-old Wesley Crow

Odessa Police arrested Crow on 7-25-15 at approximately 1147 hours for two counts of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More (Both Warrants) “3rd Degree Felony” and Driving While License Invalid with Prior Convictions “Class B Misdemeanor”. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado in the 1400 block of Wedgewood.

The driver of the listed vehicle was identified as Crow. Dispatch advised Crow had three outstanding warrants, including two felony warrants out of Lubbock County for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more. Crow was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

23-year-old Carlos Alberto-Burgos Garcia

Odessa Police arrested Garcia on 7-26-15 at approximately 0415 hours for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Going off Bond, a State Jail Felony. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Chevrolet Silverado in the 100 block of East Yukon and the driver was identified as Garcia.

Investigation revealed Garcia had a felony warrant out of Ector County for possession of cocaine – going off bond. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Garcia was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

27-year-old Joshua Shay Elliott

Odessa Police arrested Elliott on 7-26-15 at approximately 0256 hours for a felony parole violation warrant. Officers responded to 4330 North Grandview (Woodview Apartments) in reference to an assault victim. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male subject, identified as Elliott.

Dispatch advised Elliott had a felony parole violation warrant out of Austin. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Elliott was charged and arrested accordingly. Elliott was transported to MCH and treated and released before being transported to the ECLEC. The investigation continues.

26-year-old Omar Carrillo Brito

Odessa Police arrested Brito on 7-26-15 at approximately 1421 hours for Possession of Cocaine “State Jail Felony”, Possession of Marijuana “Class B Misdemeanor”, and Public Intoxication (Warrant) “Class C Misdemeanor”. Officers observed a red 2010 Ford Mustang traveling eastbound in the 3100 block of East University at a high rate of speed.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Brito. Officers could smell marijuana coming from the listed vehicle. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a bag of marijuana in the center console and a bag of cocaine in the driver’s side door pocket.

Investigation revealed Brito also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for public intoxication. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Brito was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center.

32-year-old Jeremy Steve Edgar

Odessa Police arrested Edgar on 7-26-15 at approximately 2159 hours for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility “3rd Degree Felony”, Possession of a Controlled Substance “Class B Misdemeanor” and for six outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers observed a gray 2008 Dodge Ram traveling in the 4900 block of East 42nd Street with an expired registration.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Jeremy Edgar. Edgar was placed into custody after investigation revealed he had six outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Edgar was then transported to the ECLEC. While at the jail, ECLEC jailers discovered buprenorphine and naloxone in his front left pocket. Edgar was charged and arrested accordingly.

38-year-old Audra Michelle Hubbard

Odessa Police arrested Arnold for Possession of Methamphetamine, a 3rd Degree Felony. Officers responded to 3801 East 42nd Street (HEB) in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Dispatch advised that the occupants of a maroon Dodge Caravan were using drugs. Upon arrival, officers observed the Caravan traveling west in the 3700 block of East 42nd Street.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Hubbard. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a bag of methamphetamine, a meth pipe and a chrome plated grinder containing marijuana residue. Hubbard was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.

32-year-old Laura Gabriela Franco-Trevizo

Odessa Police arrested Franco-Trevizo on 7-26-15 at approximately 1902 hours for fraudulent Use of Identifying Information “State Jail Felony” and Theft of Property “Class B Misdemeanor”. Officers responded to 4210 North JBS Parkway (Wal-Mart East) in reference to a shoplifter.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with Wal-Mart personnel, who advised they observed a female subject conceal merchandise in a personal bag and then exit the store without making any attempt to pay. Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Laura Gabriel Franco-Trevizo.

Franco-Trevizo was found to be in possession of a fraudulent social security card with a different name. Franco-Trevizo was also found to be in possession of a Permanent Resident Card under a different name but with a photo of her. Franco-Treviza advised officers that a male subject from Oklahoma created them for her.

Franco-Trevizo advised that she needed the documents to work in the United States. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Franco-Trevizo was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC. All of the stolen property was returned to Wal-Mart.

39-year-old Robert Heredia

Odessa Police arrested Heredia on 7-27-15 at approximately 0940 hours for Possession of Methamphetamine “State Jail Felony” and for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers observed a tan 2001 GMC Yukon traveling in the area of Myers and Mable with an expired registration.

A traffic stop was conducted on the listed vehicle and the driver was identified as Heredia. Officers searched the listed vehicle and discovered a bag of methamphetamine in the sun visor and a meth pipe under the driver’s seat. Heredia was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the ECLEC.
