A Gardendale man, accused of killing his common law wife, appeared in court.
A hearing was held for Danny Munguia on Thursday.
Officials say they're waiting on DNA results to come back to decide on a trial date.
Munguia is facing murder charges.
Last Fourth of July, authorities were called out to a home on Camelia.
That's where they found 22-year-old Alexandra Kennedy dead.
According to the report, Munguia said he called 911 because she wouldn't wake up.
