HOBBS, NM (KWES)
Residents in Hobbs are picking up the pieces after a heavy storm ripped through the area.
Authorities tell NewsWest 9, the storms hit Thursday around 5 p.m. and included strong winds, heavy rains and pea to marble sized hail.
Residents in the city limits had flooding issues.
Meanwhile just northwest of the city, officials received reports of barns and campers being blown over.
The storms also ripped off roofs, uprooted trees and brought down power lines.
