City of Odessa Warning Residents About Overgrown Grass

ODESSA, TX (KWES)

The City of Odessa is asking residents to keep up with their weeds and vegetation.
They say overgrown grass can be a health and safety hazard by creating a fire danger and a breeding ground for mosquitos.
They also want to remind people that it's not just the front of a property, backyards and alleyways also need to be kept up.
If not, property owners could face fines of up to $500 for vegetation more than 12 inches tall.
