Fourth Person Arrested Following Odessa Game Room Raid

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A fourth person has been arrested in connection with an illegal gambling investigation in Odessa.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, Minyun Weng, 22, was arrested on Thursday afternoon and charged with promotion of gambling.

Three other people, Dan Wu, Jie Chen and Saiying Sun, were arrested on Wednesday after police raided the Super Jackpot Game Room on East 8th Street around 11 a.m.

Detectives learned that winnings were being paid out in cash.

Police seized an undisclosed amount of cash and several hard drives during the raid.

Wu and Chen have been charged with promotion of gambling while, Sun, who is the game room owner, was charged with possession of gambling devices.
