Midland Woman Wanted by FBI Apprehended in Coke County

Judy Fryar, a.k.a. Judy Francis who had been on the run from Midland authorities was apprehended Tuesday by members of the USMS fugitive task force in Coke County.

Authorities say she was located at her family's lake house.

Fryar appeared before U.S. District Judge Robert A. Junell for a bond revocation hearing Wednesday morning.

Fryar's bond was revoked during that hearing and she now is behind bars.

During the hearing Fryar's attorney claimed that his client was not given proper notice that she was to appear in court on July 9, 2015  for charges of wire fraud.

However, a pre-trial officer attempted to make contact with Fryar on July 8, 2015 and could not locate her. Resulting in a violation of her bond conditions.

You'll remember Fryar's family reported her missing on July 7, 2015.

It was later discovered that there was an arrested warrant issued by U.S. Marshals for the 53 year-old.

Fryar is now also facing another bond violation for being outside of the Midland and Ector County when Marshals located her in Sweetwater, Texas.

A hearing has been set for August 5, 2015 at 2:45 p.m. for "disqualification of council" and "withdraw of plea".
