EDDY COUNTY, NM (KWES)
Gunfire erupted in Eddy County on Monday morning.
Deputies were called out to the intersection of Atoka Road and Highway 285.
That's where they found 33-year-old Trent Spillman of Carlsbad with a gunshot wound.
He's in stable condition at a Lubbock hospital.
According to the report, the shooting happened at a home in Lakewood.
