UPDATE: Big Spring Man Killed in Midland County Accident

MIDLAND COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

Officials have released the name of the man that died in Friday's Midland County crash.

Jody Wayne Swinney, 52, of Big Spring was pronounced dead on the scene.

The accident happened Friday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 349 and County Road 60.

DPS Troopers tell NewsWest 9, a sedan was traveling on County Road 60 turning left onto Highway 349 when the vehicle ran the stop sign and collided with a truck going southbound on Highway 349.

Two others injured in the crash have already been treated and released from the hospital.
