Three Arrested Following Ector County Game Room Robbery

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (KWES) - Three people were arrested on Tuesday following a morning game room robbery.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, they were called out to Diamonds Game Room just before 12:45 p.m. in reference to an aggravated robbery.

Deputies say two subjects entered the game room, walked toward the back, pulled their guns out and pointed them at the game room employee while demanding the safe be opened.

According to the report, the employee complied and the subjects took the money from the safe and made the employee lay face down on the floor as they fled the scene.

Officials say after reviewing surveillance video, they were able to identify one of the suspects as Tyro Shamon Booker, 21, and the video showed the suspects leaving in an older model white Mercury Cougar.

Later in the day, deputies spotted a vehicle matching the robbery description traveling west on University with three people inside.

The deputies made contact with the men who were identified as Booker, Daniel Esquivel, 24, and Adrian Alexander Gifford, 19.

Deputies say they were able to identify Gifford and Booker as the two men who entered the game room and Esquivel was the driver of the Mercury Cougar.

All three men have been taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery. Booker was also charged with having an outstanding warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle failure to appear.

Bond for Esquivel and Gifford have been set at $75,000 each and bond for Booker has been set at $160,000.
