Brewster County Sheriff's Office Warning Residents About Scam

BREWSTER COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a scam that they’re seeing.

According to their Facebook page, residents are receiving documents with the wording “Recorded Deed Notice” and that action is required to be taken by July 31, 2015.

Officials say this is a scam that is being reported across the nation.

If you do receive the documents, officials say don’t respond or send any money to them.
