ODESSA, TX (KWES) - An Odessa man has been indicted on murder charges in connection with a shooting that happened back in April.
According to the Ector County District Attorney, Joshua Carrasco, 27, was indicted on Monday.
As you may recall, Odessa Police were called out to the 1600 block of West 7th Street in reference to a gunshot victim.
When officers arrived, they found Orlando Mendivil, 27, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Mendivil was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say an investigation revealed that Carrasco shot Mendivil inside a home and fled the scene.
