Former Permian High School Teacher Indicted on Multiple Charges

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

A former Permian High School teacher has been indicted on multiple charges.

According to a press release from the Ector County District Attorney, Jay Burns, 44, was indicted on four charges of improper relationship between educator and student and two counts of sexual assault of a child.

According to the arrest affidavit, Burns was using the adult website "Fet-Life" when he met an 18-year-old Permian High School student and allegedly began a sexual relationship with her that included many inappropriate acts.

Following the 18-year-old student’s report, a 16-year old Permian High Student also met Burns on the same website and had accused him of similar accusations.
