UPDATE: Odessa Police Searching for Carjacking Suspects

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

An investigation is currently underway following a crash on Tuesday morning.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to Interstate 20 and Dixie in reference to the crash.

We’re told the accident involved two vehicles, one of which was stolen.

Police say following the crash, a Good Samaritan tried to help and that’s when two suspects, who were in the stolen  vehicle, got out and robbed the Good Samaritan at gunpoint.

Officials say the suspects also took the Good Samaritan’s car.

A search is currently underway for the suspects.

Police say the first suspect is described as a 20-year-old white Hispanic male, 5'5" tall, wearing blue jeans and a white striped shirt.

The second suspect is a white female wearing a black shirt and a denim dress.
