Woman Attempts to Cut Boyfriend With Razor Blades

ODESSA, TX (KWES) -

One woman is behind bars following a weekend incident in Odessa.

Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the 300 block of Foster in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Dispatch reported to the officers that Christina McDaniel, 43, was threatening her boyfriend and possibly had razor blades.

When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with McDaniel and officers found four razor blades in her pockets.

An investigation revealed that after McDaniel became upset, she stated that she was going to kill her boyfriend and began attempting to cut him with the razor blades.

That’s when McDaniel punched her boyfriend in the face.

Officials say McDaniel recently assaulted her boyfriend in April by stabbing him and she was out on bond for the assault.

A witness also told police that they heard McDaniel tell her boyfriend that he was going to get what he’s got coming.

As a result, McDaniel was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
