Officials Identify Victims Killed in Fiery Andrews County Accident

ANDREWS COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

DPS Troopers have identified two people that were killed in a fiery accident in Andrews County.

Officials tell NewsWest 9, Emilio Jacob Santellano, 20, of Andrews and Danny Quade Nicar, 19, of Andrews, were both killed.

As you may recall, the accident happened on July 3 at the intersection of State Highway 115 and Loop 1910, about half a mile east of Andrews.

According to the report, a 2015 Dodge Challenger was traveling eastbound on State Highway 115 and crossed through the intersection going into the southbound barrow ditch.

That’s when the vehicle struck the concrete base of a stoplight pole.

The collision caused the vehicle to catch on fire.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
