BIG SPRING, TX (KWES) - Big Spring city officials voiced their opinion on what they want to see addressed in the upcoming budget year.
Almost every City Council member said, they want to see improvements to the town's infrastructure like water lines and road surfaces.
But overall, they want to the city to look better and that includes improving park maintenance.
To pay for it all, they're looking at projected revenue from sales and property taxes.
City council also talked about recent spikes in property evaluations for many people.
One members suggested the possibility of lowering the property tax rate in the new fiscal year.
City officials say they'll come up with a basic budget proposal in the coming weeks.
