Two Men Arrested in Connection With Stolen Vehicles, Property

MIDLAND, TX (KWES) -

Two men are facing multiple charges following an investigation by the Midland Police Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division.

Anthony Dunn, 32, was arrested and charged with two counts of theft between $20,000 and $100,000 and two counts of theft between $1,500 and $20,000. Lance Snow, 21, has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

On Monday, June 15, Midland Police received a call from a Good Samaritan who reported possible suspicious activity in the 12000 block of SCR 1223, which is just inside city limits.

Upon arrival, officers noticed multiple vehicles that were in the process of being altered. A check of the vehicles' registrations came back as stolen and MPD obtained a search warrant.

Three vehicles were seized along with a generator and a compressor that are commonly used in the oil and gas industry. The estimated total amount of the recovered property is approximately $100,000.

Dunn and Snow were located Thursday afternoon and booked into the Midland County Detention Center.

The investigation continues.
