Odessa Gun Store Robbery Suspect Arrested

ODESSA, TX (KWES) - One man is behind bars following a gun store theft in Odessa.

The City of Odessa tells NewsWest 9, Kenneth Michael Scott, 22, has been federally charged with possession of stolen firearms.

Scott was arrested on Thursday in connection with the burglary that took place at Brush Mountain Outfitters on Tuesday.

According to the report, Scott was identified from surveillance video.

We're told detectives with the Odessa Police Department Crimes Against Property Unit, deputies with the Ector County Sheriff's Office and agents with Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) found Scott in possession of the stolen firearms.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
