46-year-old Elizabeth Robbins

Odessa Police arrested Robbins on 6-13-15 at approximately 2030 hours for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Failure to Appear (Warrant), a State Jail Felony. Officers responded to the 3700 block of Dawn in reference to a check welfare. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female subject sitting on the side of a house, identified as Robbins.

Robbins advised officers that she was going to ask the homeowner if she could live at the residence. A warrant check revealed that she had a felony narcotic warrant out of Ector County for failure to appear. Robbins was charged and arrested accordingly. Her dog was released to animal control since she could not find anyone to take it.

32-year-old Christopher Bivens

Odessa Police arrested Bivens on 6-12-15 at approximately 1807 hours for Possession of a Controlled Substance, a State Jail Felony. Officers responded to 3023 East Highway 80 (America's Great Value Inn) in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, officers made contact with hotel personnel, who advised they had video of a male subject breaking into other hotel rooms and stealing a bike and television.

Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Bivens, who was found to be in possession of a glass pipe and amphetamine pills. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Bivens was charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center. The investigation is still ongoing.
