MIDLAND, TX (KWES) - Midland ISD will be hosting a concert this weekend in honor of Lee High School Band Director Randy Storie.
The Odessa High and Lee High School bands will perform at the memorial event, which will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Stan Cobb Auditorium at Lee High School.
Storie passed away last month after serving the district for more than 30 years.
Officials say his former teachers, friends and colleagues will conduct the bands during the concert.
Former Lee High Band students are welcome to bring their instruments and join in when the bands play the school's spirit songs at the end of the concert.
