A body was found in Midland County on Thursday morning.
The Midland County Sheriff's Office confirmed the information to NewsWest 9 on Thursday afternoon.
According to the report, the body belongs to 26-year-old Amanda Hankins.
The report says Hankins and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Brandin Conley, got into an argument because she found a text from another woman on his phone.
Since that argument, Hankins wasn't heard from for about two weeks.
A missing person's report was filed the following day.
On Thursday morning, the sheriff's office got a call that tipped them off on where Hankins was at.
The report says Conley confessed to shooting Hankins in the back of the head.
