HOBBS, N.M. – One person is on the run and another person was arrested in connection with a weekend armed robbery in Hobbs.

Hobbs Police tell NewsWest 9, they were called out to the Dollar General on East Bender Friday night in reference to an armed robbery.

An investigation determined that two masked subjects, wearing all black and gloves, arrived at the store at closing time. One subject had a pistol and forced an employee to open the safe.
