ODESSA – Two teens have been arrested in connection with an aggravated robbery that happened back in May.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, two 16-year-old male juveniles were taken into custody on Monday and charged with aggravated robbery.
According to the report, Odessa Police were called out to the 1400 block of North County Road West in reference to an assault victim.
When officers arrived on the scene, officers made contact with a 16-year-old male who said that his vehicle had been intentionally rammed.
The victim further told police that two males dragged him out of his vehicle, beat him and stolen his wallet.
The victim was taken to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury.
Multiple witnesses at the scene told police that one suspect had a hammer and the other had a belt wrapped around his fist.
Officers later learned that the two 16-year-old males attended Odessa High School.
