ODESSA – One man is facing several charges following a weekend incident.
Odessa Police tell NewsWest 9, they responded to the intersection of Murphy and Washington in reference to a disturbance.
Officers were informed that the actor had pulled a knife out on a victim and also reported the actor was wearing black pants and standing next to a white car.
When officers arrived on the scene, they saw a male subject matching the suspect's description standing next to a white Lincoln Town Car.
The suspect, Jerry Horton, 53, was found with a folding knife in his left front pocket.
An investigation revealed that Horton hit a 49-year-old male twice in the chin with his fist before pulling out a knife and swinging it at him.
The victim sustained minor injuries during the assault but wasn't taken to the hospital.
According to the report, officers also found a bag of marijuana on Horton.
Horton is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of marijuana and for four outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
