MIDLAND - A Midland man led police on a chase through downtown.
Police were originally called to the Super Mercado on Big Spring Street to check on a suspicious person.
Vicente Ochoa was found in the parking lot.
According to the report, he jumped into a pickup and took off.
Police chased him all the way to Michigan Avenue.
When police caught up with him, they smelled alcohol on his breath.
Ochoa also failed a field sobriety test.
