MIDLAND – Sonic says they didn't find any evidence an employee tampered with a drink at one of their drive-in's in Midland.
In a statement, Sonic says the local franchise on Midkiff has completed their investigation.
They say they reviewed video footage of food and drinks being prepared and did not find any food tampering.
Sonic adds that social media posts suggesting tampering with a customer's drink were fabricated.
The franchise will determine what action to take against the employee in question including being fired.
