LOVINGTON, N.M. – One man is behind bars on charges of trafficking methamphetamine.
The Lea County Drug Task Force tells NewsWest 9, they received information last week that Arthur Willingham, 36, of Lubbock, Texas, would be traveling to Lovington to deliver methamphetamine.
Just before 6:30 p.m., Drug Task Force officials conducted a stop on a black 1995 Chevrolet Camaro registered to Willingham.
Upon contact with Willingham, he was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Upon search of his vehicle, agents found approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine along with a scale and other paraphernalia.
The value of the drugs has a street value of approximately $3,200.
