23-year-old Adrian Alvarez

Odessa Police arrested Alvarez on 5-18-15 for Possession of Marijuana "State Jail Felony", False Identification – Fugitive From Justice "Class A Misdemeanor", and for four outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers responded to the 900 block of Reynosa in reference to a disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with one of the involved parties, later identified as Alvarez. When officers initially asked Alvarez how old he was, he stated that he was 17. Further investigation revealed that Alvarez was really 23 years old. Alvarez was found to be in possession of marijuana along with clear plastic baggies.

Alvarez was found to be in possession of approximately a pound and a half of marijuana. Dispatch advised Alvarez had four outstanding warrants, including one for Graffiti of Place of Worship (MTRP). Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Alvarez was charged and arrested accordingly.

40-year-old Noree Nelson

Odessa Police arrested Nelson on 5-15-15 at approximately 1610 hours for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle "State Jail Felony" and Theft of Property "Class B Misdemeanor". Officers responded to the 9400 block of West Westridge in reference to a recovered stolen blue Nissan Murano.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with an Ector County Sheriff's Office deputy, who advised they had observed a female subject sitting inside of a blue Nissan Murano, which had previously been reported stolen. The suspect, identified as Nelson, was transported to the Odessa Police Department to be interviewed by detectives.

Nelson admitted to detectives that she had operated the Nissan Murano without the consent of its owner. Further investigation revealed that Nelson had taken a license plate from a different vehicle and placed it on the back of the Nissan Murano. Nelson was charged and arrested accordingly.

28-year-old Miska Robinson

Odessa Police arrested Robinson on 5-15-15 at approximately 1618 hours for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility – Gone Off Bond (Warrant) "3rd Degree Felony" and Possession of Cocaine – Gone Off Bond (Warrant) "State Jail Felony". Officers responded to the 400 block of Pecos to assist Child Protective Services with a removal.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female subject, identified as Robinson. Investigation revealed Robinson had two felony warrants out of Ector County. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Robinson was charged and arrested accordingly.

34-year-old Jamie Mariah Williams

Odessa Police arrested Williams on 5-16-15 at approximately 1621 hours for Possession of Heroin – Gone Off Bond (Warrant) "State Jail Felony" and for eight outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis in the 1100 block of Clifford.

The front passenger of the listed vehicle was identified as Williams. Dispatch advised Williams had nine outstanding warrants, including a felony narcotic warrant. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Williams was charged and arrested accordingly.

36-year-old Ross Ruvalcaba

Odessa Police arrested Ruvalcaba on 5-18-15 at approximately 0138 hours for Possession of Methamphetamine, a State Jail Felony. While patrolling the 2000 block of Coahuila, officers observed a male subject with pants, sitting in the driver's seat of a blue 2010 Honda CRV.

The subject was identified as Ruvalcaba. When officers asked Ruvalcaba to step out of the listed vehicle, they observed a bag of a crystal like powdery substance fall off his shirt and land on the pavement. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine. Ruvalcaba was charged and arrested accordingly.

28-year-old Yvonne Morales

Odessa Police arrested Morales on 5-17-15 at approximately 0436 hours for Possession of Cocaine "State Jail Felony" and Assault Causing Bodily Injury (Family Violence) "Class A Misdemeanor". Officers responded to 6201 East Highway 80 (MCM Grande Hotel) in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers observed a female subject slapping her 24-year-old husband across the face, causing abrasions and bruising to his face. Based on the facts and circumstances presented during the investigation, Morales was placed into custody for assault causing bodily injury.
