MIDLAND - A man refused to go to jail without a fight.
Officers found Jacob Esquibel passed out at the wheel in the 3500 block of Jordan.
They tried to put him under arrest, but Esquibel refused.
It took 2 officers, pepper spray, and batons, but Esquibel was still able to fight them off.
Esquibel lunged at one of the officers who was able to defend himself by punching Esquibel in the face, twice.
Esquibel was finally handcuffed and taken to jail.
