Amber Alert Canceled For Missing Infant

UPDATE: 

New Mexico State Police tell NewsWest 9, the Amber Alert for Lucas has been canceled. 

No other details about the cancellation of the alert have been released by officials.

Our NBC affiliate, KOB-TV in Albuquerque, is reporting that Lucas was found with possible injuries. 

However, police told KOB-TV that the child is alive.

ORIGINAL STORY:

ROSWELL, N.M. – An Amber Alert has been issued out of Roswell, New Mexico, for a missing infant.

Police are looking for Lucas (unknown last name), who is a Hispanic male, approximately one year old.

New Mexico State Police tell NewsWest 9, Lucas was last seen wearing only a diaper and was with his mother in a blue SUV near the area of 800 West College Boulevard in Roswell.

Lucas' mother, Loraine Olivas, was located but Lucas hasn't been found and authorities believe Lucas may have been seriously injured.

A photo of Lucas has not yet been released.
