MIDLAND - A Midland man has been convicted of manslaughter for a deadly father's day shooting.
Daniel Easterling was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
He was convicted in the 2013 death of Jimmy Conway.
The deadly shooting happened at a Father's Day bar-be-que.
It all stemmed from an argument.
According to the report, Easterling went and grabbed his gun and confronted Conway.
He ended up shooting Conway twice, hitting him in the chest and the back.
Easterling went on the run but was later caught hiding out at his father's RV.
